Well, I said I'd update every day this week. Except for flushing the i.v. lines this morning and tonight and Kait having to wear a mask in public, we just did normal today. Got up around 9:30, went down to Denny's for breakfast, walked over to Target and wandered around for a while, came back to the hotel, played on the computer/cruised the internet, walked down to the Panini Cafe for dinner, spent the evening watching sitcoms on t.v. That's it. But remember--boring is good! And it wasn't really boring--it was just normal. Normal is good.
You're right, normal is good. As many normal things as she can do will lift her spirits and help her recovery. Kaitlyn, you look mah-ve-lous! If you can rock bald, you can rock anything. We pray for you day and night that you will be able to go to SLC soon and have your family around you. That will be the biggest boost to recovery of all.
ReplyDeleteAny news for Salt Lake? Is there anything we can do to help with the transfer? I want you to get to UT, but we've had a crazy few days here and I've been sad that we wouldn't see you here again. I promise we aren't praying for your stay in CA to lengthen (quite the opposite), but will take advantage of that opportunity if it comes for us.
